High Performance Even After 50,000 Cycles.
KATO Suretorq hinges were developed to offer lightweight solutions for devices requiring position control and are manufactured using a high quality stainless steel body. Holding a given angle within design parameters, the Suretorq range shows a very small percentage drop-off in initial torque even when cycled in dual directions. At 50,000 cycles, Suretorq hinges show less than a 10% drop off in performance.

Example:
W = 2 lbs. L= 4 in. Angle = 0°
T = (2) (4) Cos(0°)
T = 8lbf - in.
Notes:
1. If 2 Hinges are used: 8lb-in/2 = 4lb-in per Hinge.
2. To convert from lbf-in to kgf-mm, multiply by 11.5212.
